BIG BATS BACK CHIROPRACTIC

The world record for the most homeruns in one season (73) is held by long-time chiropractic patient, Barry Bonds. Bonds became a chiropractic patient over five years ago after he hurt himself swinging a bat. Bonds recalls: "Mark Letendre, our trainer, recommended that I try chiropractic. At first, I was skeptical, but after seeing a lot of the players on the team using it, I thought I would give it a try. And after (the chiropractor) gave me an adjustment on the lower back, I knew I had to get some more of that." After that adjustment, Bonds was able to play in a game he was on the disabled list for due to the injury. Bonds has been visiting his chiropractor once a week since that time to maximize his performance and correct any injury.

In an interview, years ago, Bonds stated that he saw his chiropractor on a regular basis, "because I want to prolong my career as long as possible." It should be perfectly clear after his record breaking season of 2001, that Bonds's career is moving along quite well, thank you very much, and he's been breaking records right and left along the way.

Barry Bonds, recently said, "I think that it should be mandatory for athletes to see a chiropractor." Bonds even thanked his chiropractors during the press conference following his 500th career home run.

It should be equally enlightening to our readers to find out that Mark McGwire who, prior to Bonds, held the record for most runs in a season (70), is also a long-time chiropractic patient. In our opinion, all up-and-coming baseball players and any other serious athletes should take notice.

"After my car accident the first place I went was to Lake Stevens Chiropractic Clinic. The doctors and staff were very professional and helpful and now I am feeling great!"
